Youth are a vital part of our life together here at Arlington Hills and we value their participation in worship and other events. We offer a wide variety of opportunities for children, youth, and their families to participate in including retreats, music ministries, youth choir, Bible camp experiences, inter-generational events, and much more.

We offer a variety of educational opportunities for our children and youth that incorporate the traditional approach to Christian education as well as new and creative approaches to sharing the Gospel message. We encourage parental involvement in all of our programs in a variety of ways from working directly with the children to working behind the scenes in various capacities.

For our youth in grades 7 and up we offer Confirmation classes on Wednesday evenings that focus on developing life-long relationships between ourselves and God and ourselves and others. Servant events, fellowship, learning, and retreats are all part of a program designed to help kids discover who they are in Christ in a loving environment that encourages them to discover God for themselves.

Other opportunities for children include:

  • JC's Place Divine Dinners Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Fellowship is a truly important part of being Christians. Yet, what does it mean to engage in fellowship? It means that we are called to set some of our valuable time aside to connect with other Christians on a regular basis. Sure, this can mean by attending worship services or Bible studies, but it can also mean enjoying a meal together. So, on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., we will be having, "Divine Dinners". This is a, "bring your own dinner" occaison each week, be it a packed dinner from home, fast-food, etc., and a time of fellowship together as a church community.

  • King's Kids Class

So, while other kids are studying God's Word in Confirmation class, younger kids will have the opportunity to make crafts, play games, and grow in Christ too! Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., we invite all children, kindergarten - 5th grade
