Six years ago David Wieken fell to his death while climbing Mount Shasta in northern California. David's heart, liver, two kidneys and two corneas were donated to six people. Roxanne Wieken- Larsen and her husband Chuck are pictured above with the recipient of David's liver, Brad Fast with his wife Mary.

On the liver recipient donor list for over four years, and with his condition getting worse, David's liver became available at just the right time. Brad's condition improved almost immediately and he continues to do very well.

On Sunday September 17, the Fast's and Larsen's attended services at Arlington Hills to remember David and give thanks for the gift he made to six strangers.
Roxanne was an Administrative Assistant at Arlington Hills for many years and with husband Chuck, continues to volunteer in many areas of the church.
