In September of 1909, a new church was born on the East Side of St. Paul. This
new church was given life by a small number of Gustavus Adolphus members who believed
that it was time to share the liturgy and the message of the Lutheran Church in
English, rather than Swedish. It was in this spirit of faith that Arlington Hills
began and grew strong, opening its arms to our community and touching the lives
of thousands.
