SPIN (the Saint Paul Interfaith Network) invites us all to attend its third annual Interfaith Passover Seder, Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Temple of Aaron Congregation, 616 S. Mississippi River Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55116. The Seder expresses the universal longing for freedom, justice, and transformation in our lives and in our world through ritual, readings, song, and a shared meal and will be led by adult and youth leaders of several religious traditions.
Check-in is at 4:30 PM; and Seder from 5:00 PM(sharp)– 8:00 PM. The cost is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth (18 and under), which includes a light vegetarian dinner. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required by March 16, on-line at www.spacc.org/spin, or send a check made out to “SPACC/SPIN” to the Saint Paul Area Council of Churches, 1671 Summit Ave., Saint Paul, 55105, with “Interfaith Seder” in the memo line. LENTEN SCHEDULE
Lent is the period of time before Easter to meditate on God’s giving his only Son, Jesus Christ to suffer and die for us on the cross. It begins with Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter morning with the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Please Note: Our Mid-week Lenten Worship and soup supper time schedule has changed. The Lenten Soup Supper serving time will be from 5:00-6:00 PM. We will only have one worship service each Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. Soup, crackers and beverages will be provided. Bring a sandwich if you’d like.
